This could be great for SCC constituents, assuming the paperless ballot

Dear Santa Clara County Voters,
Over the years we at the Registrar of Voters Office (ROV) have worked
tirelessly to improve our voting process to ensure that each and every
voter has access to participate in fair, inclusive, accurate, and
transparent elections. We are always seeking opportunities to improve our
capability in administering these elections, and are now asking for your
support.

Every countywide election, our department creates and distributes over a
million County Voter Information Guides (CVIG) which enables every voter
access to a robust booklet detailing contests for an upcoming election.
This guide is a vital part to the voting process; the ROV would like to
help reduce taxpayer cost, as well as help relieve the environment of paper
waste. The guide is extremely important to the democratic process however,
the content typically becomes obsolete after your vote is cast. The ROV is
working to eliminate that paper waste by allowing voters to view their CVIG
electronically.

Currently, there are 39,793 voters that have already opted out of receiving
their printed booklet, which has saved literally a ton of paper. Every
election, voters will receive an email with a link to access their CVIG
once the books are available. We have a goal of getting 250,000 voters in
the County of Santa Clara to Go Green, and sign up to opt-out of receiving
a paper CVIG, but we can’t do it alone! Please help us spread the word and
invite other Santa Clara County voters to opt-out of paper waste.
