Thanks Kyle! Brian, thank you for facilitating in my absence.

I've had family in town for the past several days and work's been
substantially busy as well. My apologies I didn't get this out to y'all
sooner.

I spoke with Heather Aijian, who is in charge of the public affairs with
Waymo, with support from Anil Lewis and John Pare at the national office in
Baltimore back on January 31. I followed up with Heather last week and
received this response earlier this afternoon:

Hi Kevin,

We are working hard to get a time on the books! My team is in Phoenix most
of March so we will circle back with you at the beginning of Q2 once we've
had
time to nail down a few more details. We've connected with our product team
and they are excited to work with you on this. Apologies this isn't a faster
moving process, we are just a team of two and want to make sure we get all
the appropriate parties involved.
Be in touch soon!

Well, you heard it straight from the source. I anticipate this will pick up
in the next couple of months. But myself and our national contacts stressed
the potential this has to permanently change the way millions of people who
can not drive, many of whom are blind or severely low vision, and improve
mobility for these folks. Nonvisual accessibility was a forefront of that
conversation, and any information which is communicated visually to the
passenger should be communicated in a nonvisual manner. Heather didn't know
what the tests/demonstrations would look like. I will keep you all apprised
as I get more information.
