Hello Everyone,
City Cab has responded to our Taxi Resolution, which was passed 
at the 2012 NFBC State Convention.
Nyree, who is in charge, spoke with me today, and has sent me the 
rule by which her drivers must follow and sign before they can be 
a driver.
This is a rule that the Los Angeles Department of Transportation 
has set forth, and is rule 736b.
I have written back to Nyree, to thank her for her quick 
response.

Hi Robert,



It was a pleasure speaking with you earlier today.



As we discussed, City Cab has a firm policy that all drivers must 
accept
passengers with service animals, without exception.  This is also 
in
accordance with the LADOT’s taxicab rules.



Per your request, attached is a copy of the LADOT rule regarding 
servicing
passengers with service animals, as well as a copy of the notice 
provided
to drivers.  Please also note that all City Cab drivers are 
required to take
and pass an exam with the DOT, indicating that they know the 
rules of the
DOT and will abide by them.



As discussed, in the future, please obtain the name of the call 
taker
whenever you call to schedule a pick up, and please obtain the 
name of the
driver who arrives to pick you up.  The more information we have, 
the better
equipped we will be to take the necessary steps to address the 
matter and
to ensure that similar situations do not occur in the future.

experience.
