Hi Everyone,
Between November and January I was greatly concerned with what is going-on
with a special board for the purpose of Guide Dogs for the Blind in
California.
After careful consideration, I decided to write a Questionnaire to Antonette
and to write to my Assembly Person and my Senator regarding this matter.
In the following attachments I include:
1. Antonette's Response Letter to Mr. Garrick/or rather I
2. Questionnaire (19 Questions that I emailed to Antonette) with her answers
right below the questions. I also included the relevant sections to my
questions into the Questionnaire in quotation marks. Be aware that Antonette
sometimes responded in quite interesting ways.
Also the response letter was written in a manner that leads me to believe
that she wrote it prior to the 27th meeting. However, a closer Windows check
showed me that she modified the letter past the January 27 date.
This should assist you all in writing to Padilla and as a future
rehabilitation counselor, I encourage you all to enable us to have a choice
in what manner of training, assistive technology or device we are going to
use.
I will post my letter to Padilla, once I have it written.
Regards,
Roger Oberholzer
