Does John plan on filing a claim with small claims or has he filed a claim
against the owners of the pit bull?

Hi all.  I got a call from John yesterday, and he needs help with the vet
bills for Billy.  I think we should help him.  This was an unforeseen
expense, and it's bad enough Billy was attacked at all.  If I'm putting our
conversations together right, John owes $473.88.  Could we have a short
meeting on Sunday to discuss this, or can we do this via email?  John can
present his own case if we meet, but I think we should do this if we have
sufficient funds.  We promised our support.  Now it's time to get-er done. 
What do you think?  Ken
