From our phone conversation, I learned the following. 1. There are several meeting rooms. One of those rooms,(the ballroom) can divide into 3 smaller rooms. Each of these rooms can seat up to 40 people if round tables are provided. If seating is arranged in rows, each room can accommodate 60 people. 2. There are 2 other separate meeting rooms each of which also can seat up to 40 people if tables are used and 60 people if chairs are arranged in rows. Thus the total number of meeting rooms can number up to 5 separate spaces. 3. If we want to have luncheons, the hotel can provide a catered buffet or boxed lunches. 4. Julie Cardenas and I will visit the hotel again on Friday, June 17 and be provided a guided tour of the meeting rooms and the areas guide dog teams can use for relieving as well as the spaces that will be used for the Presidential and Hospitality suites if empty. If you have anything specific you think we should address while we are with Rebecca, please e-mail your questions to me before 3:00 PM Thursday, June 16. Have a great day!\ Alley 1. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... What is the capacity of the ballroom when it's not divided? And, it is useful to know the capacity for seating only versus seating with tables. -thanks -Brian From adepner1425 at gmail.com Thu Jun 9 11:12:18 2022 From: adepner1425 at gmail.com (adepner1425 at gmail.com) Date: Thu, 9 Jun 2022 11:12:18 -0700 Subject: [Plan22] Meeting Room capacity In-Reply-To: <202206091757.259HvUil006084@nfbcal.org> References: <202206091757.259HvUil006084@nfbcal.org> Message-ID: <002e01d87c2c$75022630$5f067290$@gmail.com> It is my understanding that when not divided, the ballroom seats 170 people in chairs arranged in rows without tables. I will ask about seating with tables as this is where the banquet will probably take place. I also plan to ask about how the patio can best be used.
