	hello Allison.  This sounds fantastic!  For years before the pandemic,
volunteers would come from UPS to our national convention to offer assistance where needed.  If
you do come up with a cache of Lions volunteers, I suggest meeting with them before the
convention to provide some instruction and examples of how to behave and how to offer
assistance in a respectful and appropriate manner.  They'll appreciate knowing what to do and
what to expect and our members will appreciate the helpful folks who are there.  Be sure to
explain at these meetings with the volunteers that there will be some folks who may ask for
more help than is appropriate in the moment.  Indicate to the volunteers that it is perfectly
appropriate and reasonable for them to set a boundary on what they'r willing to do.
