Did you know that blind Californians are holding monthly meetings in your region over Zoom and telephone? Check out our virtual local chapter and division meetings. All are welcome to attend.

good afternoon everyone I believe a sorority helped us out in 2019 with such things as helping to carry food and dealing with buffets etc. I think it would probably be a great idea to approach them before we approach the Lions Club. That way we work with people who might have had previous exposure to for real blind people. I'm not saying the Lions Club is bad I'm just saying that I think that we should work on wild asking for volunteer help build that relationship. Perhaps someone can look through what we did in 2019 and see just who that sorority is and see if the chapter exists at San Diego State University. I know there pretty big school so I would also be in favor of having someone look into the. I think our student division president Shelby I believe is the name that I remember might be able to look into that or maybe cricket still has some of those records.

I hope this helps?

Please note this is being dictated to the computer, so I hope it turned out well enough to be read.

Respectfully Maurice mines.

I'm not sure of all I'll be able to come up with, but I intend to try to get some help with assisting those who need it with finding a seat after the trip to the buffet. I also intend to make sure that such assistance is offered, not forced and is offered and provided in a respectful and appropriate manner that does not conflict with our NFB philosophy. I hope this effort on my part is not taken as antithetical to our philosophy of independence. I just want to make sure that everyone has a chance to eat the dinner they paid for . Not everyone has had the same level of training or has acquired the same skill set. I hope all this makes sense.
