Perhaps that instruction should be added to the text of the form or payment screen.  Vendor is confused when they want to pay by check and cannot submit their application.

Tim,
When you are filling out the application online you have the option of paying with either PayPal a credit card or a debit card.
If a vendor/sponsor does not have one of those options they should have the ability to print out the application fill it out and send it in with a check.
