<span>Good morning,</span><div><br></div><div>I just wanted to share some information I found regarding the shuttle to the hotel from LAX. Outside on the arrivals (lower) level at LAX actually looks like a pretty similar layout to SFO. There are two loops of traffic both going counterclockwise through the horse shoe shaped layout of terminals. The loops look to be four lanes each, and they're separated by a mostly continuous island. The shuttle stops are located on the island. In front of each terminal there is at least one crosswalk that goes out to the island, and then continues from the island to a center located parking garage. The exact location of the hotels shuttle stop varies, but is always very close to a crosswalk. At some it is to the right from the crosswalk and at others it is to the left. There are also separate shuttle stops for the terminal circulator bus and long distance buses. The hotel shuttle stop is designated as the red stop. I'm asuming there will be no shortage of people around out there to ask which stop is which. </div><div><br></div><div>The hotels shuttle stop is general for all hotel shuttles. What I have done in the past to make sure the shuttle I want stops is call the hotel and let them know which terminal I'm in front of, that I am blind and have a white cane, and that I'm wanting their shuttle. They should then be able to notify the shuttle driver that you're waiting for them so they look for you instead of assuming you're looking for them.</div><div><br></div><div>For those flying on Southwest or any other airline that uses terminal 1, there are two crosswalks in front of the terminal, and the hotels shuttle stop is located between them. </div><div><br></div><div>I hope everyone has a smooth trip in on Thursday,</div><div>Kyle</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr">On Fri, Oct 19, 2018, 9:44 AM Kevin Andrews <<a href="mailto:kevin.andrews94@gmail.com" target="_blank">kevin.andrews94@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">Candy,<div><br></div><div>I would call the hotel to determine where the shuttles pick up from the terminal. That being said, the pickup zones are located on the upper departures level. The taxis pick up on the arrivals level downstairs.</div><div><br></div><div>It would be wise to check with the hotel prior to flying down so you are armed with as much information as possible before going. I wouldn't rely on airport staff to know a lot... this going off past experience with airport personnel. It's a mixed bag. That being said, if they pick up where all the other shuttles pick up, then you could just ask where the shuttles pick up and go from there. But like I said, having info from the hotel where their stop is might save you a lot of time, hassle and frustration.</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr">On Fri, Oct 19, 2018 at 1:49 AM Kyle Garcia <<a href="mailto:kgarcia2432@gmail.com" target="_blank">kgarcia2432@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">Hi Candy,<div><br></div><div>I found this information on the hotel's website. "Free transportation on Marriott LAX shuttle buses is provided to all terminals to and from LAX airport. The shuttles are scheduled every 15-20 minutes at both the hotels and terminals." I'm not sure about where to catch their shuttle, but there's probably a designated area for all shuttles at each terminal that airport staff should be able to help you find. A call to the hotel could porbably get some more details. There is of course always the option of Uber or Lyft, which also probably have their own designated pickup area, which in my experience at other airports actually might be further from the terminal than the shuttle stop. </div><div><br></div><div>Regards,</div><div>Kyle</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr">On Thu, Oct 18, 2018, 10:13 PM candelaria jelinski <<a href="mailto:cande28j@gmail.com" target="_blank">cande28j@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="auto">Hello Kevin, this is Candy Jelinski I will be riding the bus one way from Los Angeles back to Northern Cal .
