My dues were sent and I am also in favor of adding a lifetime membership option.

Subject: Re: [Nfbc-sj] DUES ARE DUE

Hi Brian,
We discussed this at our previous meeting, and determined that deciding on a lifetime membership option for our chapter would require a change to our chapters constitution. This was not something that we could decide at the chapter meeting because it is a significant enough change That we need more than just two members and two board members present to discuss it. It is something that we’ve decided to table until a future chapter meeting, so if we do decide to have a lifetime membership option, it will not be available for the current year. At least certainly not before the convention.

Best,

Jamie

hello Jamie. There is a lifetime membership option available. My understanding is that
the chapters need to vote on what the lifetime membership would be for a given chapter. At the
board meeting, Tim suggested 10 years of dues, for example. Have we had a discussion at our
meetings talking abut what we want our lifetime membership dues to be?

In the absence of any previous numbers, I'll start with a proposal of $50/person for lifetime
membership.

Any discussion?
-thanks
