Hello Chapter,

I?m sorry this message has taken a while to send. But we now have a location for our December chapter meeting, which will be an in person holiday cookie exchange party! Our San Francisco chapter member and friend, LisaMaria Martinez has graciously opened her home to us again, and we will be joined by members of the San Francisco chapter as well. To accommodate holiday travel plans, the party will be next Sunday, December 14, instead of our usual third Saturday. 

Where: 4513 Fernandez St, Union City, CA
When: Sunday, December 14 from 2-6pm
Who: Silicon Valley Chapter, San Francisco chapter, and partners and children are welcome. 
What: Holiday Cookie Exchange party

If you have never been to a cookie exchange party, the basic idea is that every guest should, if they can, bring their favorite homemade or store-bought Holiday cookies to share. Everyone at the party can sample and even take home a few of each type of cookie. 

I will also be preparing warm drinks and a few other light refreshments. Kids and partners are welcome! I will have all three of mine present and they?re eager to meet you all.

Dress festive if you like and we cannot wait to see you all. Please reach out to me if you have any questions about transportation or the party in general. My phone number is 720-919-6846 and a phone call or text is the fastest way to reach me for sure.

I don?t think this was in my original email but I?ve gotten a few requests for a White Rlephant game on Sunday at our cookie party. So, I know it?s last minute, but if you?d like to participate, please bring a wrapped gift for each member of your party who wants to play, of approximately $15-$20 value with you to the party. The game involves choosing random surprises from the gift pile or stealing unwrapped gifts, and can be lots of fun to play or to watch.
