Good morning chapter members, and happy Spring! 

As discussed at our last few meetings, our April meeting will be an in-person pot-luck at a local affiliate member?s home! It will also be on a different date than our usual 3rd Saturday meeting to avoid conflict with the Easter holiday. PLEASE PLAN AHEAD! We will be meeting on Saturday, April 26th at 3pm at the home of Lisamaria Martinez (described by many as a powerhouse of our movement) at 5413 Fernandez St, Union City, CA. There is a Bart station a little over a mile from the house, but you may need to plan to uber from the station. This event will be a lot luck, so if you are able, please feel free to bring food or drink to share. Partners and children are welcome. 

The topics of our meeting will surely rub the gamut, but sometimes possibilities include a recap of our state convention, ways members can help fight uber ride denials, and the role blind people play in democracy. 

Can?t wait to be with you all again!

This sounds so fun! I'm flying out that day to attend/present at a research
