Hey folks, happy new year!

With Valentines Day just a few short weeks after our meeting, what do you all think about having a fun discussion about all the interesting aspects of dating and marriage as blind people? Some questions we might poke at could include:

What are the pros and cons of having a blind vs. a sighted partner?

When should you tell a prospective partner that you’re blind (in the event they don’t automatically know)? 

How do I even get started? Tinder? Speed Dating? Etc.

And many, many more I’m sure. 

I was going to share links to articles from the monitor about dating and relationships, but I was actually really surprised at how many there were to choose from! So I am once again asking you for your thoughtful contributions! Please feel free to reply to this email with an article on the topic that you find interesting, or some thoughts or questions that might help fuel our discussion on Saturday!
