I have applied to the VA many times but I am not licensed and at this point
it is too late for me to get licensed on my current ASW. I do not have
nearly enough hours for my licensure due to four jobs that promised
supervision but screwed me over. Yes, I am bitter.

I am in the process of applying for a job with the DOR as a senior
vocational rehab counsellor and hope to be transferred to the BFS position
when the person woing that job bnow retires.

I can only work in Santa Clara county, cannot move at this point and I am
also up against ageism at 57 it is a struggle.

I continue to look at USA Jobs and the VA but have all but given up hope.

Hi David,
There are lots of jobs at usjobs.gov.  I just applied for a few.  They also
have a social worker at the VA.  Make sure you get a schedule a letter from
your Department of Rehab counslor.  Good luck Elizabeth Stewart

Sorry to all that I have been absent for many months now.

Still looking for work and, well, all the stress that goes along with that.

I have my CCB chapter meeting that same day in the morning/early afternoon
so will try to get home in tome for this meeting.
