[Nfbc-sj] DOUBLEGOOD STORE SETUP INSTRUCTIONS FOR IOS USERS

	hello fellow San Jose chapter members.  As we prepare for our Doublegood Popcorn fund
raiser next week, I'm including instructions for setting up your pop-up stores, using the
Doublegood app on your iOS device, with VoiceOver.  Remember, the fund raiser begins at 5PM
Sunday evening, 07/24/2022 at 5PM Pacific time and runs through 5PM Pacific time on 07/28/2022.

Instructions for setting up a Pop-Up store, using the Doublegood app on iOS devices with
VoiceOver.

1.  Install the Doublegood app from the app store.  You may either search for "doublegood
popcorn" in the search tab of the app store, or you can cut and paste the following URL into
safari on your iOS device.

2.  Once you have the app installed, open it as you would any app.

3.  Double tap on Join an event.  This will begin a series of steps you need to complete to get
connected to our fund raiser.

4.  Verify your phone number by entering it into the text box, then pressing the send
verification code button.  You'll receive a 4-digit code via text message.  When you receive
the code, type it into the verification text box.  Note that it can take a few minutes to
receive the text message.  In my case, it took about 5 minutes for the message to come through.

5.  After you've verified your phone number, enter your name and e-mail address.  All of these
fields and buttons are fully accessible with VoiceOver.

6.   Once you've entered your identifying information, you'll b asked for an event code.
Our event code is: JGTNRB

7.  Once you've entered your code, you'll be invited to create your pop-up store.  
You can enter a different store name if you wish and add a picture.  Note that if you elect to
add a picture from your photo library, you won't be able to choose the photo using VoiceOver.
While you'll be able to scroll through the pictures, VoiceOver can't "see" them so you can't
choose one until you turn off VoiceOver.  
Once you've selected a specific photo, you can use VoiceOver to tell the app that's the photo
you want and VoiceOver can be used to complete the store setup from this point forward.


8.  Once you've entered all of your store details, press the "Save" button.

9.  Once your store is setup, you can share a link to this store using the share link button.
the app allows you to share your link via text message, facebook, e-mail or copy it to your
clip board for pasting into other apps on the phone.

	Now that your store is set up and you now know how to share the link to it, let's get
sharing and selling!  Remember, sales can happen between Sunday July 24 2022 and Thursday July
28, 2022!
