Hello Jamie. I'm in favor of having a Facebook page if we think we can maintain it. It
isn't something I'm able to take on at this time, but that doesn't mean others shouldn't. In
addition to that, do you have thoughts about how to keep our facebook presence in sync with our
mailing list or other social media/web sites we may want to branch out to? My concern is that
we may have a contingint of members who are on Facebook and others who are not. How do we
facilitate communications between these two groups? Is it possible for folks who post to our
Facebook wall or who write asking questions about our chapter on facebook to have their
messages copied to the mailing list, thereby including those who are not on Facebook in the
discussion? Conversely, is it possible for messages that get posted to the mailing list to get
auto-posted on our Facebook page? (I realize we may be able to fix some of these issues with
a bit of one-time scripting/programming, and I'm willing to explore that.)
Thoughts?
-Brian
