	hello everyone!  This Saturday we will be holding our August meeting, via Zoom, see the
bottom of this message for Zoom details, and it promises to be an exciting meeting full of
information, decision making and change!  Here is the agenda as I have it at the moment.  Feel
free to send additional items or to bring them with you to the meeting.  What ever you do,
however, we encourage you to join us on Saturday!

1.  Introductions
this is a customary portion of our meeting, but because we will be holding elections this
month, it is particularly important.  Also, if anyone is interested in serving on the board, it
looks like we'll have  two open positions for folks who would like to start their leadership
positions in the NFB.

2.  Elections
All board positions are up for re-election this year.  The board currently  consists of:

Brian Buhrow, President
Brian Quintana, Vice President
Kyle Garcia, Treasurer
Jamie Crane, Secretary
Board position 1, vacant
Board position 2, vacant

Jamie has indicated her interest in running for President and I think this would be a good fit
for her and the chapter.  I will seek to be elected as secretary, so it is my intention to stay
nearby.  
Brian Q and Kyle have indicated their interest in continuing in their respective positions,
which, assuming they get re-elected, I think will make an excellent compliment of officers.

3.  Thanks to the efforts of all of our fund raisers, especially Brian Q, we had an awesome!
fund raiser, raising over $850 for the chapter!  This means we now have a budget to contend
with.  Consequently, we now have to make some decisions about what we're going to do going
forward.

With that in mind, here are some discussion points we can consider as we ponder the question

O  How much should we donate to the state affiliate at the upcoming state convention?

O  Should we donate an auction basket to the state convention?

O  Do we want to mount some kind of convention attendance assistance program?

O  Do we want to try and put together some kind of workshop?  If so, what kind?
