Would the chapter like to send someone to participate in this conversation on robot delivery? I cannot personally do it due to convention activities. Feel free to follow up directly with the below contact.

Subject: Request to interview: SJSU project on Sidewalk Delivery Robots
Dear Tim Elder,
I am reaching out to you on behalf of an SJSU community engagement project being done in collaboration with the City of San Jose’s Department of Transportation. The project is a study of perceptions of sidewalk delivery robots and how this may or may not affect the daily lives of our community members.
As part of this project, several students are interviewing community stakeholders. I am interested in interviewing you because it is very important to include all diverse people into conversations as decisions could impact each life and feel that your insights will be invaluable to the research. Specifically, I am interested in learning more about how you and your organization's opinions and perspectives can further our kiwibot research and overall community safety.
I hope this research is of interest to you and that you’d like to participate in an interview, which will take about half an hour over Zoom. Below are several times that work for me and my research partner, Robert Mason. If these times do not work for you or you are available sooner, please feel free to propose alternatives.
* October, 20th, 11am, 1pm, 2pm
* October, 22nd, 11am, 1pm, 2pm
* October, 27th, 11am, 1pm, 2pm
If you have any questions or would like to discuss the research project in more detail please feel free to email me or call me at (408)-510-2767 (If I do not pick up, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible). I look forward to hearing back from you and appreciate your consideration.
Best,
Hannah Meeks and Robert Mason
