Hey family!

Copied below are the notes from last weekend's chapter meeting! This was a
very important meeting, in my opinion, as we welcomed a new member family
to our chapter.

As promised, I'll be sending a follow-up within the next day or so
regarding my research on virtual fundraising opportunities (and,
incidentally, opportunities to have some fun and build community!)

   Presidential Release key points and dates:
   -

      Feb 8, 5:00 PM EST - Washington Seminar Great Gathering In. Everyone
      is welcome to join this kickoff event for our virtual Washington Seminar!
      -

      National Convention: National board has not yet made a final
      decision, but it is extremely likely to be virtual again.
      -

      NFB has established a partnership with RAIN, a national sexual
      violence prevention organization, to ensure that the NFB and all it’s
      national centers provide a safe and healthy setting for all members and
      their families. You can learn more about RAINN at rainn.org.

      NFB also launched a taskforce entirely lead by sexual violence
      survivors to advise on this work, as well as provide a safe point of
      contact for other survivors of sexual misconduct. More info at

   Introductions to new members, Lori (and eventually, her son who recently
   lost his vision in an accident)
