[Nfbc-sj] REMINDER: IN-PERSON HOLIDAY/MEETING THIS SATURDAY, 12/18/2021 3:00PM

	Hello fellow chapter members.  This is a reminder that we will be holding a holiday party,
in person, this Saturday, 12/18/2021 at 3:00PM.  The meeting will take place out doors, bring
your jackets and gloves, at San Jose's Santana Row in the open space in front of Starbucks.  This is a
food court area where a number of food and drink establishments are located.  We will be
gathering in front of Starbucks because it is a good landmark.  If you have trouble finding us,
you may call me on my cell at: 510-409-9051 and I'll talk you in.

	Also, per our last meeting, we'll be conducting a white elephant gift exchange.  If you
wish to participate, bring a gift of $25 in value or less, wrapped, and be prepared to vie for
receiving the best gift!  I've got mine all ready to go and I look forward to the fun!


	On a more somber note, I need to share that our member, John VanderVort, is currently in
the ICU at San Jose Valley Medical.  His sister Carol says doctors are still trying to
determine the cause of his trouble, but he is improving daily and seems to be in rising
spirits!  Please keep John in your thoughts and praayers in the coming days.  I'll inquire
about an address to send cards and flowers and share that when I have it.  Please do not try to
visit John as Valley Medical is imposing a very restrictive visitation policy during the latest
Omicron surge.
