Hi chapter friends!
I feel so ridiculous for this, but it looks like the meeting notes from our
November chapter meeting have been sitting in my outbox for weeks now,
unsent. There were some connection issues with Comcast in my area that
weekend, and I must not have noticed I'd been disconnected when I hit send.
Super sorry! So... here are the notes from November! I've attached a link
to a Google Doc, but I've also pasted the notes below for greater
convenience.
I'll send a follow-up e-mail with some updates regarding a few of the
action items in the notes this weekend.

How to Do Things Without In-Person Meetings:

We have $50

Some categories include Fundraising, Recruitment, Empowerment/Teaching,
Social/Retention.

Could combine meetings with another chapter to bring in fresh ideas
-
Combine with SF chapter for virtual coffee socials or similar
-
Virtual accessible game sessions
-
Guest speaker sessions
-
Fundraising: Virtual “tupperware party” style sessions in partnership
with local businesses where a part of purchase proceeds goes to the
chapter.

Brian will do some research on other Fun/Fundraising activity options to
discuss at December meeting

Everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas as well! Use the mailing list
to discuss between meetings.

Fundraising: Could sell coupon booklets. Could utilize social media and
the interwebs to do this virtually

Fundraising: Restaurant fundraiser that includes delivery orders within
a certain window
-
Jamie will make phone calls to businesses regarding virtual fundraising
options.
Holiday happenings:

Jamie and Nancy (and anyone else who wants to!) will share some holiday
snack ideas before the next meeting! Members can choose whether to make
snacks to enjoy during our December meeting :)
