I've been asked to pass this along.

"We are recruiting participants for a usability study on an accessible 3D
modeling workflow for the blind and visually impaired. Participants with any
experience of programming are preferred; proficiency not required. During
the study, participants will be introduced to a 3D modeling application and
system
and perform six short tasks. The system consists of modifying short program
statements and previewing them through a tactile shape display. The study
will
be conducted in the California Bay Area in the months of April to May and
last between 1.5 to 2 hours. Participants will be compensated $50 for their
time.

If you are interested in learning more about the study and helping to
improve access to 3D modeling and design tools for blind makers and
professionals
please contact Alexa Siu (through email:
afsiu at stanford.edu
or phone: 404-543/8057). Alexa is a PhD Student at Stanford University
conducting research to advance accessible interfaces for Making (e.g. 3D
modeling
and printing, electronics prototyping) for the blind and visually impaired.

Thanks!
