<p style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:14pt;color:black">The National Federation of the Blind is seeking the next generation of blind leaders for the 2026–2027 <a href="https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=43108&qid=12590725" rel="nofollow" style="color:blue;text-decoration:underline" target="_blank">Kenneth Jernigan Leadership-In-Service Program (KJLSP)</a>. This immersive and transformative program is designed for members committed to service, growth, and the work of building the organized blind movement.</p>
<p style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:14pt;color:black">Over the course of a year, participants will engage in in-person workshops, virtual learning, personalized mentorship, and hands-on leadership projects to strengthen advocacy skills, deepen their understanding of the movement, and build relationships with fellow leaders.</p>
<p style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:14pt;color:black">Interested applicants must:</p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:14pt;color:black">Be an active Federationist with a solid understanding of our philosophy.</li>
<li style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:14pt;color:black">Have experience attending national and state conventions.</li>
<li style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:14pt;color:black">Demonstrate a commitment to leadership or service.</li>
<li style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:14pt;color:black">Commit to participating in virtual and in-person sessions.</li>
<li style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:14pt;color:black">Complete assignments and provide feedback through surveys.</li>
</ul>
