<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Hi all.&nbsp; Edison's been getting a little 
protective of the house lately.&nbsp; I don't do much to discourage this because 
two guys were in our yard on a Saturday afternoon.&nbsp; Last night, Edison 
barked and woke us up three times.&nbsp; This morning, I noticed that the inside 
door knob was coming loose.&nbsp; They had pried our security door open and were 
working on the inside door.&nbsp; The scary part wasn't the barking.&nbsp; It 
was the growling that came afterwards; a clear indication that it would be 
better for me not to get out of bed.&nbsp; The door's being repaired as I write 
this.&nbsp; I couldn't calm down for much of the morning.&nbsp; If I were a 
burglar, I'd think twice against a growling dog.&nbsp; He's a sweet little lab, 
but he sounds tough.&nbsp; This morning, Velvet and I were approached by a 
street person wanting to fix a ding in the car.&nbsp; I guess Edison gave him a 
look, because he suddenly left us alone.&nbsp; The change in the weather has 
made things less safe around here.&nbsp; Bye for now.&nbsp; Me, V and E.&nbsp;
