<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Imagine my surprise when I couldn't buy a
replacement tug ring. They just aren't there any more; oh there are soft
rings with squeakers in them and pull toys with rings on either end and rope
toys, etc. All of these are but poor substitutes for a hard rubber tug
ring for a nice game of tug-of-war at the end of the day. All of those
double and triple rings just make for a more complicated and busy appearance
while adding nothing to the pure game of tug-of-war which does so much to build
the bonds of friendship and respect between us and our guides. I say we
launch a concerted campaign to bring them back into the market place for the
sense of fun and the wellbeing of ourselves and our guides. We can hold
all the meetings we want to: but I say lets show'em what CAGDU and anybody else
who will join us can do. Take up our chant. Bring back
the ring. This will be a fine gage of our measure.
