Hi Guys,

I too marched and I started where the buses were loading people who could not walk to the park where the celebration took place. I started in the back, but somehow I managed to move my way towards the front as well. It was an awsome march and I hope everyone had a chance to participate in it! This will now be an annual event it seems or at least we will be doing it again next year in Dallas!

Tiffany

Ken Volonte <kenvolonte@comcast.net> wrote:

Hi group. Well, Gulliver and I were in the march for independence. In fact, we were more than in. We started at the back of the line where the busses were loading for folks who couldn't march but wanted to be
in the park. As we marched along, I found that I was getting closer and closer to where Kevin Worley was giving instructions. We got to the park well ahead of most of the other marchers. On the way back to the hotel, I found myself at the front of the line, but a couple blocks before the hotel, I found myself passing Kevin. By the time I got back to the hotel, I could just barely hear the marchers. I didn't know quite what to do. Should I go in and wait? Should I merge with the rest of the marchers? I decided to just go on ahead. After all, I couldn't help it if those cane users were so slow; and besides, this was probably going to be Gulliver's last convention of any kind. We arrived a full four minutes before everybody else. Makes me wonder why I'm retiring Gulliver huh. What fun and excitement. Hurray for us!!! Hurray for us each and every
one!
_______________________________________________
Cagdu mailing list
Cagdu@nfbcal.org
https://www.nfbcal.org/mailman/listinfo/cagdu
