Hello CAGDU Community, I had a
call this morning from a CAGDU member who was denied a ride home by a cab
because of his guide dog. The excuse was the driver claimed he was afraid of
dogs. YES, he was a foreign, and the cab company went along with it. They send
out a new cab for him, but I am not clear if they knew about the A D A in our
country. We did collect the information and we will start a complaint asp.
However, this just reconfirms the urgency of our educational seminar. Please
support our CAGDU Community and please help us make a difference by getting
involved. We must support our dogs and stick together no matter what school or
agency we belong to. Please start by helping me to circulate this
message.
