Animal Planet in Canada picked up the show, but it was not until this year that Animal Planet in the U.S. did the same. The show will air this Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 8PM. Consult your local listing for verification of time and station. Here is a link to the press release about the broadcast, http://www.prweb.com/releases/2013/7/prweb10958284.htm Here is a link to the video promo about the show including part of my interview and reenactment of the events of 9-11, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIoyeZIsZYE. I think the teamwork, trust, and unity we all experienced right after that day are things we should strive to regain and make a more tangible part of our lives. We sure all have a lot to learn from the unconditional love our guide dogs show us. Whether or not you have a guide dog, be just a little more loving today and see if you can keep it going after 9-11. The fun of having a dog, as well as creating understanding of service animal public access! Hi Michael, Let's all grab a leash and lead those "fake" service dogs back home where they belong! As we close out September, ( National Service Dog Month), education will always be the key to getting the message out about legitimate service dogs and their place in society helping those with disabilities...from civilians to our military veterans. Take a moment to watch my video blog and learn the 4 main differences between a legitimate service dog and a FAKE!!! So...one last time..... Click Here to Watch the Video _____ A Great Find on YouTube This Week! This is just sooo cute. It's a job interview process for a "guide dog" type job (in England). I can tell you...it's absolutely true! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxwJ2GgtDHs _____ Tip of the Week Think about adopting a shelter dog since October is "Adopt a Shelter Dog Month." If you can't adopt, then contact a local shelter to see if you can spearhead a "drive" of some kind, from gathering towels/blankets, offering clerical help, volunteer assistance...anything to help move forward the goal of getting these wayward doggies into a loving home. _____ How we can help you! We want you to be completely educated on how to properly interact with a service dog and handler when they enter your place of business. Jump on over to my website www.serviceanimaledu.com today and see just how we can help you prevent any potential access denial lawsuits. We always offer a free 15 minute consultation and are available as a guest speaker. _____ Think a "service dog" could help you or someone in your family? If you have a disability and are interested in learning about how a service dog could benefit you, I'll be happy to answer those questions too! I've got plenty of resources. Pawsitively appreciative!
