From Kenvolonte at comcast.net Sun Jun 10 20:39:27 2012 From: Kenvolonte at comcast.net (Ken Volonte) Date: Sun, 10 Jun 2012 20:39:27 -0700 Subject: [Cagdu] tug ring Message-ID: <12E0C38D8682404BA9DDEE144F7705FD@kenvolonte> Imagine my surprise when I couldn't buy a replacement tug ring. They just aren't there any more; oh there are soft rings with squeakers in them and pull toys with rings on either end and rope toys, etc. All of these are but poor substitutes for a hard rubber tug ring for a nice game of tug-of-war at the end of the day. All of those double and triple rings just make for a more complicated and busy appearance while adding nothing to the pure game of tug-of-war which does so much to build the bonds of friendship and respect between us and our guides. I say we launch a concerted campaign to bring them back into the market place for the sense of fun and the wellbeing of ourselves and our guides. We can hold all the meetings we want to: but I say lets show'em what CAGDU and anybody else who will join us can do. Take up our chant. Bring back the ring. This will be a fine gage of our measure. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I did order one from Petsmart. Most of the ring has spikes to clean the dogs' teeth and it's scented with Vanilla. I wish I could remember who made those rings that GDB. used to sell. Bye for now. ----- Original Message ----- From: Tina Thomas To: cagdu at nfbcal.org Sent: Monday, June 11, 2012 12:32 PM Subject: Re: [Cagdu] tug ring Hey Ken- Have you checked out the ruffware website www.ruffware.com or sitstay.com.
