[Cagdu] minutes Oct.

[Ken Volonte]

The Oct. meeting of CAgdu began at 6:30.  This was a short meeting.  Present 
were: Tina Thomas, Ken Volonte, Mike Hingson, Shannon Dillon, Robert Stigile 
and Roger Oberholtzer.

    This meeting was to take up the question of increasing the amount of 
money to be sent to the state office from $200.00 to $500.00 Ken made the 
motion and Tina seconded.  The motion passed.

    Mike wanted to discuss sending money to the Nagdu Advocacy hot line. Ken 
suggested that with the amount of money in our treasury, we could afford to 
send %500.00 to Nagdu as well.  Mike made the motion, Ken and Tina seconded 
and the motion carried. This will be a one time shot in the arm to get the 
Advocacy hotline started.  Mike said that the yearly cost would be $1500.00. 
If every state paid $30.00 a year, the line would be sustaining.  It should 
be ready by mid Nov. Mike said.

    We then finalized the plan for the convention meeting with a broad 
overview of what we've accomplished.  Meeting adjourned at 6:20.
