Roll: Juliet Cody, Robert Stigile, Peter Mansell, Roger Oberholzer, Shannon Dillon and Tina Thomas.
 
1. Minutes 
 
Minutes are tabled to the next meeting.
 
2. Treasurer's Report
 
Beginning balance = $1972.71.  Deposits of $250 from the NFBC for candy; $100 from Jason Holloway for candy; $100 from Joy Stigile for candy; $100 from Shannon for candy.  $.01 interest.  Ending balance = $5,522.72.
 
3. Membership/Attendance
 
Shannon will find the membership list to divide up names and send them to members to make a phone tree.
 
4. Fund-Raising
 
A. Candy.  Two cases are going to Tina and two to Gail Paulsen.  There is a bill for $500 to pay for World's Finest Chocolate.
 
B. Drawing for State Convention.  Tabled to the next meeting.
 
5. Committee Concerning Stockton Municipal Code 6.8020.  Ken reports that the city agreed that the police will provide better training to their officers concerning dog attacks. 
 
6. National Convention
 
Tina will get the active membership list to NAGDU.  Peo0ple on the CAGDU membership list do not have to pay membership dues to NAGDU.  
 
7. Request for Support from State Board of Guide Dogs for the Blind 
 
Shannon will attend the May 9 board meeting to clarify language discussed in the letter from Jeff Neidich.  The letter states that proposed legislation will make it easier for out of state trainers to train in California.  If that is the case, CAGDU will support the language.
