[Cagdu] we are back

Hi all.  The day was bright and sunny as our intrepid band of marchers 
started off from Caldwell Park.  The University would be holding graduation 
ceremonies all day, and as we started off, Flow Gently Sweet Afton drifted 
over the quad.  We marched.  We marched along Pacific Avenue until we came 
to Taste of Britani restaurant which had offered us some crepes for a snack. 
We entered to cheers and applause from the customers.  We ate and talked for 
two long, and when we left, the sun's heat precluded our following the 
original plan of the march, so we improvised.

    We marched south to Harding, then crossed to the shady side of the 
street and turned back.  We eventually joined at least one other parade 
going in the opposite direction.  It was great fun until one of our dogs was 
attacked.

    Edison and I escaped, but the person behind me started yelling at the 
dog's owner for having such an ill trained suburban cur, and, well-- What 
are you going to do.  Billy did quite well in the ensuing Malay, but people 
on the Avenue are going to be talking about this for a long time.  I gotta 
go.  We have water coolers to retrieve.  Ken
