[Cagdu] FW: SB 475 (Padilla)

Hi Robert,
Thanks for the response. I understand that we did not draft this letter.
Having these sorts of letters drafted and handed to you to simply sign
is standard practice.
What I'm curious about is. Is it the letter we do not like, or is it the
legislation? If we simply don't like the letter, we are not obligated to
keep it. We can throw this letter away and redraft our own. This is just
a suggested letter they gave us to make our lives easier. It happens all
the time. What I'd like to get at is do we "NFBC or CAGDU) support the
legislation on its merits. If so, let's send our own letter. If not, we
can send a letter in opposition. Both I feel are important in this
process. Weather we agree with the legislation or not, our voice, as the
NFBC, needs to be heard in Sacramento.
Respectfully,
Jonathan Lyens

Hello Jonathan,
My concerns, were that a letter was drafted without us being
consulted, but as I have learned, that was not the case.
This is a draft letter as Shannon stated, by the Guide Dog board.
I do not support it.
Thanks,
Robert Stigile
