Hi Tina. I've used a guide dog for almost forty years. I can't be that
old. My dogs have been mostly Labs. They've been there through college,
various kinds of jobs in various locations. They've been a part of two
weddings. Currently, the streets near my house are being reengineered so
that they are different every day and Edison has figured out alternate
routes home. I really have to trust my dog. We're a team. The reason I
wanted to start using a dog is that I'm tall, and canes only protect you up
to your waist. Ken Volonte
