[Cagdu] Back to work all!

[Juliett Cody]

Howdy CAGDU ERS!
I'm still not over Texas, but it is time to round-up the doggies and get them to our seminar. Therefore the callers must start calling and e-mailing, and the speakers must be called upon. Also donations must be confirmed and the chow must be decided. So, today I have been in touch with some of you and here is where we stand and where we are going:
* We have our date.
 * Shannon found us the location, chairs, mike etc...
* I contacted the taxi cabs and they agreed to speak and gave us a generous donation.
* GDB has agreed to send us some toys for door prizes
* Peter asked Mike H.,( THE STAR FROM 911) to speak in our seminar, and he said yes!
*We all decided on pizza and we will finalize it at our meeting Sunday, July 13th.
* Mike Peterson is helping to get donations.
* Our secretary Tina is ready to start calling and e-mailing.
*Jonathan lyens is contacting many non-profits, and getting us some PR. * Karmalynn Ruiz called, and she is ready to help with the calling.
* Joe lopes and Leener also want to join the calling team.
* Peter will also be doing some calling.

Things to do:
* Peter and Tina will lead the calling team .
 * We need to build a large list. For now, we have the universities and high schools. I need for everyone to help and send names and phone numbers or e-mail of schools, churches, universities, friends or any organization wish to invite. Please send it to: julietcody at cox.net
* We need to get newspaper, TV or radio coverage.
* We need to finalize the speakers and print agendas.
If I forgot anything let me know.
Finally do not forget the meeting.
Thanks,
Juliet
