Hello Ken,
Perhaps after some work Edison will learn the route and you will not need any type of doorbell. I would do the crossing that way for a couple of days and then try removing the doorbell and see what happens. I know there halved been times with certain route where it has taken Marly more time, and we have had to work a little harder before we triumph.
Sending you and Edison a lot of positive energy,
JC and M .

Here's the next episode of our adventures in the wilderland. Emily came by today for some fine tuning of Edison's work. There's an island he has to target otherwise I could end up in another street or lost in the Starbuck's parking lot.

We tried the clicker, but that didn't work. Then Emily got an idea: a remote controlled doorbell mounted on a pole in d on a pole in the middle of the island. The sound cue would guide me and Edison strait to the island. It worked too. You just never know.

Something about this makes me uneasy. What happens when the city engineers decide that this is an unauthorized doorbell? What happens when I no longer need the sound? What happens if the batteries die when I'm not to the island yet? I'm not sure that this is going to work, but must close for now, as I can't think of any more jokes. Happy trails. Ken
