Hi everybody.  On Tuesday, John and I spoke to the Stockton City Council 
about Billy's attack.  Today, I had a conversation with Lieutenant Mize of 
the Stockton Police in which I explained that Billy's attacker should have 
been immediately impounded for evaluation or disposal. This is a nice clear 
procedure which we will be taking to the new city council. Mr. Mize agreed 
and offered the additional information that since attacks on service dogs 
were so rare that it wouldn't be a problem.
