Hello Ken- what did your chapter decide to do concerning  Billy's vet bills?

Also for future reference, The National ?Federation of the Blind of
California and its chapters are not in the business of making loans. CAGDU
is setting a very dangerous precedence.

Hi all.  I didn't check my phone messages when we came back from dinner, so
I didn't know about the board meeting.

    Our chapter took up the question of John's vet bills.  There was
universal outrage at this irresponsible owner, etc.  Vet bills paid.  We're
done.

    Thanks everybody for your help with this unpleasant business.  It's so
unexpected it makes me a little scared to go out.

    We've got to follow through now with this here in Stockton, because the
police should have taken Brandy the Pit Bull right down to animal control. 
Court papers will be filed on Tuesday.  Bye for now, and thanks again.
