[Cagdu] guide dog ceminar

[Ken Volonte]

Dear Heather: The California Association of Guide Dog Users is having a
seminar on Aug. 23 at the Lions' Blind Center, 3834 Opal Street in Oakland.
We'd like to get a speaker from GGRA to address the concerns of restaurant
owners with regard to guide dogs. The seminar runs from 9:am--3:pm. We'll
even give you lunch.

Since these dogs have been around for such a long time and the laws as
to equal access are so clear, you wouldn't think that guide dog users are
still running into problems from time to time, but we are.

If you could attend this seminar, we'd love to have you. I look forward
to hearing from you in the next few days. You can send an email, or contact
me by phone at 209-464-6766. Thanks.Ken Volonte, Cagdu Board
