"Air Canada now operates routes in to the
auk for registered
assistance dogs from a number of Canadian Cities to
London's Heathrow
International Airport. Air Canada is Canada's second
airline, and the third
North American carrier to commence operation of
assistance dog routes in to
the UK. This means that guide and other assistance
dogs may now travel in
the passenger cabin with their owner rather than in
the cargo hold.

Air Canada joins Air Transat and British Airways in
the operation of
assistance dog routes in to the UK. Air Transat now
operates two routes to
Manchester in addition to their routes to London
Gatwick. The current list
of assistance dog routes from Canada in to the UK is
as follows:
