Hello Juliet,
Sunday will be best for me.
I have a meeting starting at 7:30 pm on Sunday, so I would need
to be done by then.
So, if we went around 5:00 pm that would be great.
If you need to do this on Saturday, go ahead, and have it without
me.
Thanks,

Robert Stigile

>Juliett,
> I thought I was leaving that up to you, as you have several
people to coordinate and I am fairly flexible. I will be
arriving on Saturday afternoon and my departure is still unsure.
It may be as early as Tuesday or I may be staying the whole week.
So, if we could set a time before Tuesday, I would be sure to be
there. The NAGDU meetings are on Saturday and Monday from 7:00 -
10:00 p.m. Any time other than that is fine with me. Just check
with the other CAGDU board members and let me know the time.
We'll arrange the place.

>Peace!

> Dear All,
> Robert gave me your contact information, so I wanted to
take this opportunity to thank each of you personally for your
service to the National Federation of the Blind and the national
Association of Guide Dog Users. Since Peter doesn't seem to have
email, please pass this message on to him, as well.
> The strength of the Federation is in our unity and
collective action. All parts of our organization work
cooperatively to achieve our goals and our special interest
divisions are an essential element. As we develop state
Affiliates and divisions our work is divided into manageable
tasks with knowledgeable leaders. Local leadershyip is
essential, as you know the culture of your community and its
leadership. For this reason, it is easier to manage local issues
and avocate for our constituents with local assistance.
likewise, the national leadership can provide valuable guideance
while creating a network that spreads across the country and
throughout our ranks. The work you do in California has a
tremendous impact on the lives of all blind people. I want to
express my gratitude to each of you who have chosen to serve in
our Movement and encourage you to continue serving as you feel
led.
> Robert has advised me that most of you will be coming to
the national convention in Atlanta. Though we will be together
at the NAGDU meeting, so will a large number of others. I would
like to have the chance to get together with you as a group in a
more intimate setting than our annual meeting so we can get to
know each other and share our ideas, plans, and desires for our
future. There are many great places to eat near the convention,
so let's plan on sharing a meal and some fellowship in our busy
convention schedules.
> Robert has told me that the NFBC convention is in
Sacramento this year at the end of October. My daughter is
stationed in San Francisco with the Coast Guard and is recently
married. I have not yet met my new son-in-law and might be able
to make your convention. I'll let you know better later in the
summer.
> Until we meet, I wish you great success in your endeavors
and offer you my support. If there is anything I can do for you,
please feel free to call upon me. My contact information is
below my signature.
