Hi Juliet, here is something that you may be interested in for the San
Diego chapter - it's very short notice but it might be fun!

Dear Guide Dogs for the Blind,

My service dog "Skipper" and I would like to remind you one last time
that Celebrate Service Dogs at Viejas Casino will be held Saturday, July
28 and Sunday, July 29, 2007, from 10am to 4pm in the DreamCatcher at
Viejas Casino and Outlet Center.

What is Celebrate Service Dogs at Viejas Casino? It's a chance to...

* Get to know other service dog teams and organizations.
* Educate the public about service dogs in a fun, friendly setting.
* Practice navigating elevators and lifts, loading onto a bus, climbing
ramps, and working in crowds.
* Enjoy FREE buffet tickets.
* Registered participants can enter in drawings to win great prizes for
service dogs and people alike.
* Act now! Events are limited to the first 35 dog team handlers per day.

Remember, Celebrate Service Dogs at Viejas Casino is free! There's no
cost to service dog teams or organizations and both graduates and
puppies are welcome. Plus, service dog organizations are invited to put
up displays in the DreamCatcher at no cost. And, literature about
service dog teams will be made available to all guests of the casino.

All you have to do is come, and Viejas will take care of the rest! There
will be plenty of water for our four-legged friends and a rest area in
the DreamCatcher for teams who get overexcited.

Don't miss this opportunity to Celebrate Service Dogs at Viejas Casino.
