Hi Juliet. I don't know how much you see your emails but wanted to make sure I don't confuse you.
I have sent you some correspondence between myself and Purina, Greenies and Pet smart so far..
I wasn't sure but sent them personal email rather than cluttering up the list but can in the future send them to the list if that's better.
As soon as I have time I will send out some more inquiries to petco and some other places.
The purina site does give grants to assist community education projects, but the form gave me problems maybe with jaws it works better I use window-eyes.
I ask them if we can contact someone via phone if we aren't able to access the online form properly and forwarded you my correspondence.
If you could get a grant to assist in holding training and public assistance seminars that could be very helpful in the future because you could use it to bring in speakers from other affiliates, print and distribute literature, promote the seminars etc. Probably such a grant would be very helpful right about now with the Carlsdad seminar--it could be a great help for the organization if we got one of these grants. Also with a company like Purina such a grant might not be just a one time thing. Like they have with the girl scouts and other community groups they might form a bond or partnership which could be a great help during future years.

I'll let you know as well as the list if we get prize donations.
God Bless:
Mike Peterson
